On October 30, 2012, H.E. Ambassador Mr. Yang Houlan met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha. They exchanged views on bilateral relations and cooperation on concrete projects.

Both sides agreed that they should jointly push ahead the construction of Pokhara International Airport. Indian media's reports about the Chinese company's bribing Nepali side in tendering the airport project were purely fictitious and ill-intended.
