On October 14,  Ambassador Zhang Maoming met with Deepak Kumar Shah, Nepal’s Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies. The two sides held in-depth discussions on improving customs clearance efficiency at border ports, upgrading border port infrastructure, facilitating cross-border trade and logistics, and deepening economic and trade cooperation and investment. Both sides agreed to further strengthen communication and coordination, deepen cooperation on border connectivity, and actively expand practical cooperation in bilateral trade and investment, injecting fresh impetus into economic development and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
