On September 25, 2026,  H.E. Mr. Zhang Maoming, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, met with Hon. Mr. Sunil Lamsal, Minister for Infrastructure Development of Nepal, for an in-depth exchange on China-Nepal relations, post-disaster reconstruction, connectivity and other issues.Both sides agreed to strengthen communication and coordination between the two governments, deepen cooperation on post-disaster reconstruction, enhance infrastructure connectivity, help affected families resume normal life at the earliest possible date, and work together to further grow China-Nepal relations.
