Recently, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Nepal forwarded USD 200,000 emergency cash aid from the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to the Government of Nepal to support its flood relief efforts. The Nepali side expressed its sincere appreciation and stressed that the move fully demonstrates the close and friendly relationship between Nepal and China, in which the two countries stand by each other and share weal and woe. The Nepali side looks forward to continued valuable support from China, and stands ready to work with China to overcome the flood disaster and help affected people rebuild their homes.
