Diplomatic, service or courtesy visa applicants need to visit the website of Kathmandu Chinese Visa Application Service Center at: https://www.visaforchina.cn/user/login?site=KTM3_EN to fill out the visa application form online, upload the required documents, and the application will enter the initial review phase. When the status of the order changes to “Passport to be submitted”, please submit the passport, relevant diplomatic note, and other documents required to the Chinese Embassy Consular Section directly, without the need for prior appointment.

Holders of Nepalese Diplomatic and Official passports are entitled to a 30-day visa-free stay in China.
