H.E. Ambassador Mr. Yang Houlan Met with Principal of Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute

On November 22, 2012, H.E. Ambassador Mr. Yang Houlan met with Mr. Laxman Rajbanshi, Founder Principal of Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute and Mr. Rupak Rajbanshi, Principal of Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute. They exchanged views on friendly exchanges and cooperation between China and Nepal in fields of culture and education.

Mr. Laxman Rajbanshi introduced the exchanges and feelings with China. He hoped to expand more channels to enhance the interaction of the younger generation, and to promote mutual understanding and friendship. Mr. Laxman Rajbanshi also put forward specific ideas and proposals on mutual exchanges and cooperation.

Ambassador Yang positively evaluated the strong desire and work of the Institute on consolidating and developing bilateral friendly relations. He pointed out that Sino-Nepalese friendly cooperation had broad prospects. The young generations are not only the future of the country, but also participants continuing to deepen the friendship and cooperation between the two countries. The Embassy is willing to make efforts to promote humanities exchanges and cooperation in the field of education.
