Q: The Independent Election Commission of Afghanistan said yesterday that the announcement of the result of the presidential run-off which was scheduled for that day would be put off to July 7. What is China's comment?
A: China has noted the latest development of the presidential election in Afghanistan. The Chinese side respects the choice of the Afghan people and hopes that relevant issue will be properly resolved through dialogue between parties concerned. Q: Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said today that he will lift certain unilateral economic sanctions on the DPRK. Does China believe that this will help improve Japan's relations with the DPRK?
