On 8 October, 2012, H.E. Ambassador Mr. Yang Houlan went to Myagdi District and visited Ram Chand School. Over 200 local residents including teachers, students and political party leaders held a warm welcome ceremony for Yang and his delegation.
At the ceremony, Yang said that China and Nepal have thousands of years history of friendly exchanges. The two countries are good neighbors and friends with mutual understanding, mutual support and mutual help. Since the establishment of diplomatic ties, bilateral relations have maintained a good momentum of development. The young generation is the future of the country, and bears the great responsibility of carrying on the friendship from generation to generation. He hoped that the teachers and students will know more about China and become the envoys of friendship. He sincerely wished the friendship flowers between the two countries will be more and more beautiful.
The Nepali side spoke highly of China-Nepal relations and China's long time selfless assistance and support to Nepal, and said they will make contributions to the long-term bilateral friendly relations.
