On January 27, 2013, The Tibean Water Snake Losar Culture Show was organized by Chinese Embassy in Nepal. H.E. Ambassador Mr. Yang Houlan, COAS General Gaurav SJB Rana, IGP Mr. Kuber Singh Rana, and more than 200 people, including officials of Nepal Government, diplomats in Nepal attended the Culture Show.

During his speech, Ambassador Yang introduced the comprehensive development in all areas of Tibet and Sino-Nepal friendly relations and cooperation. He said that the development is the key to solve all the problems in Tibet and stability is the premise and guarantee of development in Tibet. He hoped all walks of life in Nepal and the international community continue to support the stability and development of Tibet. The Chinese government would continue to promote Tibet-Nepal cooperation, make efforts to promote mutual exchanges in the areas of politics, economy, culture and so on.

Tibet Cangdu troupe of musicians and artists presented over ten exciting programs, including dances and songs.

After the Culture Show, Ambassador Yang accepted an interview by Nepal Kantipur television. He answered reporter's questions on the significance of the Tibetan Losar Culture Show.
