The Deputy Chairman of Tibet Autonomous Region, Wu Yingjie Visits Nepal

On November 1-6, Mr. Wu Yingjie, the Deputy Chairman of Tibet Autonomous Region led a delegation to visit Nepal.

During his visit, Mr. Wu Yingjie called on the Prime Minister, DPM and Minister for Home Affairs and DPM and Minister for Foreign Affairs. He met with Minister for Local Development, Minister and Secretary for Commerce and Supplies, Secretary of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Acting Mayor of Kathmandu and acting Mayor of Pokhara. Wu also held talks with the friendly organizations. The ambassador Yang Houlan accompanied Mr. Wu Yingjie to attend the abovementioned meetings.

Both sides unanimously agreed to continue to strengthen the pragmatic cooperation between China and Nepal, especially with Tibet, consolidate the traditional friendship, and promote the rapid development of China-Nepal Comprehensive Partnership of Cooperation.
